MAX7129 Dot Matrix Display
Br 950.00
- Input voltage: 5V
- Maximum Operating Current: 320 mA
- Forward Voltage for Each Segment or LED (Turning ON): 1.5V – 2.0V
- Forward Current for Each Segment or LED (During ON): 10mA – 15mA
- Maximum Operating Temperature: – 25°C to 60°
- All common microcontrollers can be connected to this module by using a 4-wire serial interface.
- This 8×8 DMD Module requires only 3 I/O lines for driving the display.
- The 8×8 Dot Matrix Display Module has a MAX7219 driver IC and an 8×8 LED Matrix.
- The MAX7219 IC is a compact and serial input/output common-cathode display driver. This IC is developed by Maxim Integrated, California. The presence of the MAX7219 IC on the 8×8 Display Module will give you a very easy interfacing experience with any development boards.
- The 8×8 Led Matrix modules are available in different modules and each of the modules will have different pin configurations, but they have the same functioning pins.
- The 8×8 Dot Matrix Display Module consists of 10 Pins. There are two pin series on both sides of the module. The pin series alongside the MAX7219 IC Consists of 3 driver pins (DIN, CS, CLK) to drive the display and two power pins (Vcc, GND) for powering the module.
- The other one is just on the opposite side of the first one, covered by the LED matrix. Use these pins while connecting multiple 8×8 Dot Matrix Displays in Series with each other. These pins consist of almost the same pins as the first one; the only difference is the DOUT Pin which allows you to connect with the DIN pin of another Module.
The 8×8 Dot Matrix Display Modules can be used as the following:
- Outdoor Display
- Table Clock
- As a Weather Display
- Character Design
- Displaying Results
