BC107 NPN Transistor

Br 15.00

  • The BC107 is a low signal NPN transistor which is known for its low noise operations making it perfect for signal processing circuits and television receivers.
  • BC107 BJT Transistor NPN 45V / 100mA
  • Product Category:Bipolar Transistors – BJT
  • Transistor Polarity: NPN
  • Configuration: Single
  • Collector- Emitter Voltage VCEO Max: 45V
  • Collector- Base Voltage VCBO: 50V
  • Emitter- Base Voltage VEBO: 6V
  • Maximum DC Collector Current:0.1 A
  • Minimum Operating Temperature:- 55 C
  • Maximum Operating Temperature:+ 175 C
  • Pd – Power Dissipation:300 mW
  • BC107 is a NPN transistor hence the collector and emitter will be left open (Reverse biased) when the base pin is held at ground and will be closed (Forward biased) when a signal is provided to base pin.
  • BC107 has a gain value hfe of 50; this value determines the amplification capacity of the transistor.
  • The maximum amount of current that could flow through the Collector pin is 100mA, hence we cannot connect loads that consume more than 100mA using this transistor. When this transistor is fully biased then it can allow a maximum of 100mA to flow across the collector and emitter. This stage is called Saturation Region. When base current is removed the transistor becomes fully off, this stage is called as the Cut-off Region.
  • BC107 Equivalent BC549
  • PNP Complementary for BC107 BC177

Pin Configuration

  • Pin 1(Emitter)Current Drains out through emitter, normally connected to ground
  • Pin 2(Base) Controls the biasing of transistor, Used to turn ON or OFF the transistor
  • Pin 3(Collector)Current flows in through collector, normally connected to load

Applications of BC107 NPN General Purpose Transistor:

  • used in low noise and low signal designs
  • It is used in switching device.
  • It is used in amplifying device.
  • It is used in DIY kits.
  • It is used in Electronic projects.
