GY-85 9-Axis Magnetic Acceleration Gyroscope Module

Br 2,500.00

  • TheGY-85 is a 9-Degrees of Freedom (9-DOF) Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) that combines three distinct sensor chips into a single module: a 3-axis gyroscope, a 3-axis accelerometer, and a 3-axis magnetometer (digital compass). It is widely used in drones, robotics, and wearable tech.
  • Model: GY-85
  • Color: Blue
  • Material: PCB brass
  • With fixed bolt hole for easy installation.
  • Chips Used: ITG-3205 (Gyroscope), ADXL345 (Accelerometer), HMC5883L (Magnetometer)
  • Interface: I2C (IIC) communication protocol
  • Dimensions: 26 x 18 x 4 mm
  • Weight: 2 g

GY-85 has the following sensors on board:

  • Gyroscope (ITG-3205): Measures angular velocity (rotation) across the X, Y, and Z axes. It typically has a full-scale range of ±2000°/s
  • Accelerometer (ADXL345): Measures linear acceleration (including gravity) across all three axes with high resolution, capable of handling forces up to ±16g
  • Magnetometer (HMC5883L): Measures the Earth’s magnetic field to provide precise directional heading/orientation data
  • This board combines 5 sensors into a single tiny package. Convenient to expirement with different sensors or used together as an inertial management unit. They are all accessible via I2C bus.

Supply voltage GY85 is 5v and 3.3v compatible. Use one of the following depending on your interface voltage:

  • VCC 5v power, If using with boards such as an Arduino UNO, Leonardo, Micro, Mega.
  • VCC 3.3v power, If using with boards such as an Arduino Due.
  • SCL – I2C Clock
  • SDA – I2C Data
  • GND – Ground

GY-80 – Multi Sensor Board

  • 3 Axis Accelerometer
  • 3 Axis Gyroscope
  • 3 Axis Magnetometer
