Thanks to MPL3115A2’s built-in complete compensation algorithm and high algorithm, the sensor can directly output an accurate 20 bit read value or 20 bit read value, as well as 12 bit read values, with an effective resolution of up to 30 centimeters. From the beginning of the measurement to the output of the international standard unit (Pascal, rice and centigrade), MCU only needs to perform I2C reading and writing operations, without any additional data processing, and greatly reduces the power consumption of the system while saving the MCU resources effectively.
MPL3115A2 also supports offset adjustment of pressure, height and temperature, autonomous data acquisition, limit alarm and extreme value recording. The sensor also provides up to 128 times the over sampling rate, and 32 FIFO sampling buffers are used for data storage.
