PWM to Voltage Converter Module
Br 950.00
- PWM to voltage converter modules are electronic devices that transform a digital pulse-width modulation (PWM) signal into a proportional analog voltage.
- This PWM to Voltage Converter Module is designed to convert 0-100% duty cycle PWM signals into 0-10V analog voltage. It requires a 12-30V DC power supply and accepts 1kHz-3kHz PWM frequencies, commonly used for industrial PLC control or motor speed regulation
- These modules are primarily used to interface microcontrollers (like Arduino or ESP32) with industrial equipment such as PLCs, motor speed controllers, or LED dimmers that require analog control signals.
- Working Voltage Range: DC 12V-30V
- Power Requirement: Minimum 100mA
- PWM Signal Receiving Frequency Range: 1KHZ-3KHZ
- PWM Signal Input Voltage Range: 4.5V to 10V or 12V to 24V (adjustable by jumper)
- Voltage Output Range: 0-10V
- Conversion Range: 0%-100% PWM conversion to 0-10V voltage
- Tolerance: 5%
- Potentiometer for calibration PWM signal
- Module size: (LxWxH) 33x33x15mm
- Since the PWM to voltage converter converts inputted PWM digital signals into 0 to 10V analog voltage it can be used as the switching interface for PLC or and other microcontroller based controller/driver boards. Here, the output voltage can be regulated by varying the duty cycle of the pulse width modulation.
- The module has a working voltage range of DC 12V-30V, with a minimum current of more than 100mA. Please note that this is the voltage required for the module to work and is separate from the PWM signal.
- The PWM signal frequency range is between 1KHZ-3KHZ, making the module compatible with a wide range of devices and controllers.
- The PWM signal input level range can be set to 4.5 to 10V level (for conventional industrial control boards such as MACH3 board and the interface of 5V CPU) or 12 to 24V level (mainly aimed at the conventional PLC interface). With a jumper pin, it is set to 4.5 to 10V level by default.
- The conversion range of PWM to voltage is 0%-100%, with a tolerance of 5%. This means you can easily adjust the output voltage between 0-10V by adjusting the PWM duty cycle.
- Connections: VCC (12-30V), GND (Power), PWM (Signal Input), GND (Signal Ground), VOUT (0-10V)
- The module provides flexible options for adjusting the signal level, making it suitable for a wide range of applications, such as motor speed control, LED dimming, and temperature control.
Initial Setup:
- Connect 12-30V DC to VCC and GND.
- Set the input level jumper: Use 5V for Arduino/microcontrollers, 24V for PLC.
- Apply a 50% PWM duty cycle.
- Adjust the onboard potentiometer until the output voltage (VOUT) reads 5V
