S9012 PNP Transistor

• S9012 PNP Small Signal Transistor is designed for 1W output amplifier of portable radios in class B push-pull operation.
• SS9012 is a BJT transistor manufactured in TO-92 package, it is also used in many commercial electronic appliances and devices. The transistor can be used for many common applications but according to the manufacturer it is mainly designed for audio amplification purposes and it can be used as a 1000mW amplifier for any device that provides few miliwatts audio output. Like other general purpose transistors which are 2N3906, 2N4403, BC559 etc. the SS9012 can also be used as a general purpose device in wide variety of electronics applications and it is also a must to have transistor in the electronic lab. Apart from that this transistor can also be used as a switch to drive loads under 500mA. This transistor comes in different  h_FE values that can be determined with the last alphabet printed after the transistor number like SS9012D hfe value is 64~91, SS9012E HFE value is 78~112, SS9012F HFE value is 96~135, SS9012G is 112~166 and SS9012G HFE value is 144~202.
